Selection Process

Applicants will be chosen via the following selection process. Each stage is based on the successful completion of the previous stage.

  1. Applicant submits an application form, cover letter, resume, Working With Children Check and copy of transcripts.
  2. Applicant attends an interview with a panel.
  3. Applicant completes a written task for review by the interview panel.
  4. Position is offered – provisional psychologist is enrolled.

Please note: if your qualifications are from overseas, it is the responsibility of the applicant to submit these to the Australian Psychological Society for assessment and cover the costs. This must be done prior to application and the results must be presented to Learning Links as part of Step 1.

If the applicant has English as a second language, it is the responsibility of the applicant to organise, complete and cover the costs of an IELTS test.  Results must be presented to Learning Links as part of Step 1.

Learning Links applicants are required to complet a criminal history record check (police check) and, if you are working with children, a NSW Working with Children Check.

I acknowledge that acceptance into this program is not automatic and is subject to Learning Links selection process. I have attached a resume, a Working With Children Check number and certified copies of academic transcripts for all qualifications claimed.
